Senior Test Automation Engineer

• Design, develop and maintain automated test solutions using Playwright
• Drive and continuously improve the automation testing approach within the team
• Take ownership of test automation quality and support achieving target test coverage levels
• Plan, execute and report on testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle
• Perform API testing and validate integrations between systems
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, testers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries
• Analyze application code and database structures to support effective test design and troubleshooting
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and maintain automation integration within deployment pipelines

Key requirements:

• At least 5 years of strong commercial experience in test automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience with API testing
• Ability to read, understand and work with application code
• Good understanding of databases and data validation techniques
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
• Strong sense of ownership and proactive approach to improving automation quality

Nice to have:

• Interest in AI-powered and AI-augmented test automation solutions
• Knowledge of Cucumber or other test automation frameworks
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or banking environments
