Business Data Analyst

Skills:

• Practical experience in software development with solid understanding of technical processes and systems
• Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g. APIs, Springboot)
• Analytical and critical thinking to gather, analyse and interpret data
• Problem-solving with high attention to detail and consideration of alternative solutions
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Experience managing technology infrastructure in large operational environments, applying Lean Six Sigma and Agile to improve performance
• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale, complex global or regional change initiatives
• Knowledge of regulatory changes in the financial sector

The role holder is responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets across the bank to identify commonalities, specific journey related data-sets and valuable insights. The analyst will use a variety of technical tools and methodologies to support the business, improve efficiency and inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, understand and analyse data from various bank sources (Onboarding, KYC, Products, Tax, etc.)
• Design, maintain and troubleshoot data systems and databases
• Implement data governance policies, ensuring data quality and integrity
• Aggregate data for analysis and ensure datasets are ready for modelling
• Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and SAFe methodologies
• Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and provide recommendations
• Present reports to leadership for strategic decision-making
• Identify automation opportunities in data analysis
• Recommend and contribute to process improvements in analysis, mapping and requirements gathering
