AWS DevOps Engineer

Skills:

• Strong engineering background with experience in incident handling, on-call support, and working closely with other engineers on shared systems.
• Solid Python skills, especially for automation and scripting in real production environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, with a clear focus on AWS services.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps and Agile ways of working, with a strong “you build it, you run it” mindset.
• Proven experience delivering and operating enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Good understanding of Linux and or Windows systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Git, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Security-first approach to system design and delivery, including a good understanding of AWS security practices.
• Familiarity with non-functional testing, risk management, compliance requirements, and working in regulated environments.

We are looking for experienced DevOps Engineers to join a Cloud Services team that supports multiple project teams worldwide as part of a Cloud First approach. The team focuses on operating and managing AWS, GCP and Azure environments, running core platform services, and supporting development teams in launching new applications into the cloud. You will work in an agile setup, building and operating cloud solutions that are resilient, scalable, high-performing, and heavily automated.

What will you do:

• Supporting project teams to build safe, reliable and secure systems that address business needs
• Providing on-call support, solving technical problems and helping to resolve incidents
• Writing clear documentation that can be read by both technical and non-technical people
• Assisting in the management of AWS accounts and operating key platform services
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure secure and efficient project launches
