Senior Java Developer

SUMMARY

📍 Kraków (6 days onsite monthly)

Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team working on modern, distributed applications within the banking and financial services sector.

You will be involved in developing and maintaining scalable microservices-based solutions, working closely with other developers and technical teams. The role combines backend development with elements of full-stack work and requires strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and modern cloud-native technologies.

You will

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices
• Build and integrate REST and gRPC services
• Work with Spring Boot and modern Java technologies
• Develop and maintain applications running in Kubernetes
• Work with relational databases, preferably Oracle
• Participate in automated testing using Cucumber
• Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
• Contribute to technical design and continuous improvement of the application architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a distributed environment

Must have

• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong commercial experience with Java
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Maven
• Previous experience in banking or financial services
• Experience with automated testing, preferably Cucumber
• Good understanding of distributed systems and modern software development practices
• Fluent in English and Polish

• Experience with Oracle
• Experience with gRPC
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
