Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual, functional, regression and exploratory testing of iOS and Android applications and backend services.
• Validate features throughout development, identify usability issues and edge cases, and investigate, reproduce and document defects.
• Analyze logs, network traffic and API responses to help identify root causes.
• Design, develop and maintain automated tests for critical user journeys and regression scenarios, increasing coverage within CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owners and Designers, helping define acceptance criteria, test strategies and fast fix validation.
• Improve testing efficiency, tooling and quality engineering practices.

• Completed university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of software testing experience in agile development teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual and exploratory testing.
• Initial experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium or Selenium.
• Programming experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python or C# sufficient to develop and maintain automated tests.
• Experience with REST API testing using Postman, Bruno, Charles Proxy or similar tools.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with developers and business stakeholders.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish.
• Openness to hybrid work and visiting the Katowice office.
