O wydarzeniu

We’re back at Paramount for another Mobile Warsaw season!

This time we’ll look at two very different but nicely connected parts of mobile development: implementing modern Android platform behavior, and designing the small product details that make apps feel complete, memorable, and worth coming back to.

EVENT AGENDA

18:50 — Introduction & Welcome

Welcome to Mobile Warsaw #109! Community announcements, a quick overview of tonight’s talks, and a chance to meet the speakers.

We'll also shine a spotlight on Shipaton - RevenueCat's global hackathon - with a fun little showcase of projects our own community members are racing to ship before the finish line. ✨

19:00 — Implementing Predictive Back in Android - Przemek Libudzki

Predictive Back is quickly becoming a platform standard in Android. This talk explores practical implementation strategies to support it effectively. We’ll start with out-of-the-box solutions using Material 3 Components and modern routing libraries, and then touch on building custom gesture animations.

Przemek is an Android developer passionate about the craft of mobile engineering and mastering the platform’s core APIs. He is currently looking for his first professional role or internship in Android development.

19:45 — Break & Networking

As usual during the break, you can find warm pizza waiting for you. Beverages are available all the time in the kitchen!

20:15 — What Makes a Mobile App Worth $50?

Serhii Kopytchuk

In a world where AI can help more people ship apps faster, the small product decisions matter more than ever. This talk is about the details that make an app feel more polished, satisfying, and worth returning to: daily streaks, achievements, animations, haptics, paywalls, and tiny interactions that add up to a better user experience.

We’ll look at why one paywall can work better than another, how streaks can support retention, how reward animations affect the user, how to make achievements feel more satisfying, how to study competitors, and why consistency in UI matters.

Serhii is an iOS developer with more than 3.5 years of experience. He also builds his own apps and is currently working on making his latest app, Knockout, profitable.
