Go Architect / Solution Architect

Andersen is hiring a Go Architect / Solution Architect (Go) for a project building scalable distributed systems and high-performance platforms supporting business growth and innovation.

Our customer is an international organization operating in the financial and protection services domain. The company provides a diverse portfolio of customer-oriented solutions across multiple business areas and markets. With a strong focus on digital capabilities, operational excellence, and long-term development, the organization continuously invests in technology, process improvement, and service innovation to support evolving customer and business needs.

The project focuses on building and evolving a high-performance, scalable distributed platform designed to support complex business operations and rapid product growth. The system is developed in Go, with a strong emphasis on efficient concurrency models, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities:

- Designing and evolving scalable distributed systems in Go, choosing appropriate concurrency models and ensuring a balance between performance and maintainability.

- Collaborating with Product Managers to refine high-level business goals into actionable technical plans and delivery roadmaps.

Must-haves:

- Software development experience for 7+ years.

- Hands-on, production-level experience with Go for 4+ years, including deep understanding of goroutines, channels, context, memory model, and concurrency patterns.

- Higher education in Computer Science (software development, etc.).

- Extensive experience working with AI and the process of implementing/configuring it within a team.

- Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated/high-compliance domains.

- Proven experience designing distributed, microservice-based, and/or high-load systems.

- Strong expertise in API design (REST and/or gRPC), including versioning and backward compatibility.

- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) and event-driven architecture.

- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with system design for high performance and maintainability.

- Hands-on experience CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

- Understanding of system design principles: scalability, fault tolerance, security, observability (metrics, logging, tracing).

- Level of English – from Advanced and above.
