Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing automated backend tests for mission-critical meteorological services.
• Extending and improving the Python-based test automation framework.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Validating REST APIs and complex data processing workflows.
• Collaborating with developers and business analysts.
• Improving testing strategy, tooling, and engineering practices.

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing.
• Hands-on experience building automated tests and test frameworks.
• Solid Python skills, especially with pytest.
• Experience testing REST APIs and working with Docker.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
• Confidence working in Linux or UNIX environments and using the shell.
• Good written and spoken English at B2+ level.
• Readiness to work in a hybrid model, including 2 days per week in the Gdańsk office.
