Project Manager in Barcelona

Responsibilities:

• Managing end-to-end delivery of software implementation and digital transformation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
• Planning, coordinating, and monitoring project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading cross-functional and distributed teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, and DevOps specialists.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinating implementation and integration of enterprise solutions, APIs, and third-party systems within financial and digital platforms.
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and project status meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, security requirements, and regulatory frameworks while maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Tracking project performance, resource utilization, and key delivery metrics, driving continuous process improvement and customer satisfaction.

Must-haves:

• Experience in project management for 3+ years.
• Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, resolve blockers, and drive projects toward successful delivery.
• Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of Spanish – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Project Management certifications such as SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• French language proficiency.
