SD Credit Retail - IT Operations Mainframe

Project:

• Supporting and maintaining critical Mainframe systems for a leading Nordic banking institution.
• Ensuring the stability, availability and reliability of business critical banking services in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and supporting Mainframe production environments.
• Investigating incidents, resolving operational issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Supporting batch processing and smooth daily operations.
• Working with z/OS, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS and VSAM.
• Collaborating with development, infrastructure and business teams.
• Improving operational processes and efficiency.

Work model and benefits:

• Hybrid work from Gdańsk or Warsaw, with two or three days per week in the office.

• Deep understanding of COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, IMS and Base SAS.
• Ability to use TSO, ISPF and SDSF to browse datasets and monitor system output.
• Experience with OPC, TWS, Abend Aid and File Aid for defect fixes.
• Knowledge of Mainframe production support, incident resolution and batch processing.
• Ability to collaborate with international development, infrastructure and business teams.
• Professional use of English in daily communication.
