Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern cloud-based data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will collaborate with analytics, development, and business teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Build and manage data warehouses and data lake solutions in GCP.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, and external systems.
• Automate data processing workflows and ensure data quality monitoring.
• Optimize query performance and cloud infrastructure costs.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices.
• Participate in data architecture design and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

Must Have

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with GCP services such as:
  • BigQuery
  • Cloud Storage
  • Dataflow
  • Pub/Sub
  • Composer (Airflow)
  • Cloud Functions or Cloud Run
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
• Understanding of data security and governance principles.
