UI Designer with German

Andersen is hiring a UI Designer with German for a project focused on accessible digital interfaces and a scalable design system.

Customer: A large infrastructure organization operating complex, business-critical systems. It invests in digital technologies, automation, and data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and decision-making, supporting long-term growth and evolving operational needs.

Project: Designing and maintaining consistent, accessible, user-friendly interfaces based on the Nova Design System. Includes creating UI components, high-fidelity prototypes, design specifications, and style guides, while continuously enhancing the design system for a consistent cross-platform experience.

Responsibilities:

• Designing UI components aligned with the Nova Design System Library
• Creating high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for stakeholder validation
• Defining design specifications for colors, typography, spacing, and component usage
• Preparing and maintaining UI style guides for consistent cross-platform implementation
• Updating and evolving Nova Design System components, including new patterns and refinements
• Preparing accessibility reports and validating with usability and accessibility standards

Must-haves: 

• Experience in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or related fields for 2+ years.
• Professional certifications in UI Design, Graphic Design, UX, or Design Thinking (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification, UX Research Academy or equivalent).
• Training in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. 
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Design, or a related field.
