Senior Embedded C++ Software Engineer

Project

Join an engineering team developing next-generation Interior Sensing solutions for the automotive industry. You'll work on the Core Framework that provides communication and video frame services supporting Driver Monitoring and Cabin Monitoring systems.

The project focuses on building high-performance embedded software running on Linux/QNX platforms and contributing to advanced in-vehicle safety technologies.

You will

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C++14/17
• Implement new features within the Interior Sensing Core Framework
• Develop and execute unit tests while ensuring high code coverage
• Resolve issues identified through static code analysis
• Improve code quality, maintainability, and performance
• Collaborate with international engineering teams using modern development practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture discussions

Must have

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Embedded C++ development
• Strong knowledge of C++14/17
• Experience designing and implementing embedded software
• Experience writing unit tests and improving code coverage
• Knowledge of Linux or QNX
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or Gerrit
• Understanding of source code branching and version control workflows
• Experience working with static code analysis tools
• MSc degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
• Fluent English and Polish

Nice to have

• Experience with image or video processing
• Knowledge of image scaling, cropping, alignment, and buffer management
• Experience with shared memory and multithreading
• Automotive software development experience
• Familiarity with embedded communication frameworks and real-time systems
