- Monitor active threat environments globally, including elevated-risk locations.
- Brief GWS leadership on geopolitical risk before escalation; serve as primary internal voice.
- Translate complex threats into clear briefings for senior non-security leadership.
- Develop security standards, protocols, emergency guides, and audit-ready documentation for all Remitly offices.
- Partner with GWS regional leads to implement and maintain site-level standards.
- Oversee security planning for high-risk travel, board meetings, and public events using retained consulting partner.
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Enterprise Risk Management on employee care strategy and high-risk location protocols.
- Manage escalation paths and communications for active safety/security situations.
- Create communication templates, response guides, and post-incident reviews.
- Coordinate with Operational Risk Management during enterprise crises.
- Lead relationship, performance oversight, and escalation routing with retained global security consulting partner.
- Evaluate, scope, select, and manage additional security vendors and tools (risk intelligence platforms).
- Deliver audit-ready documentation and control evidence for ISO 27001 and compliance frameworks.
