Java Developer

• Participate in the full development lifecycle from analysis and design through to deployment and third-line production support
• Design applications at low level and contribute to higher-level architecture decisions
• Provide technical guidance and influence junior team members
• Work closely with team members to maintain high code quality
• Develop modern risk system software in a leading banking environment
• Contribute to Citi's mission of sustaining a common risk platform serving demanding trading businesses

Key requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of modern Java development experience with strong Spring Boot and Microservices
• Excellent understanding of distributed system design, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Can-do attitude
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Nice to have:

• Experience with high availability, resiliency, and low-latency applications
• Familiarity with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, MongoDB, SQL, and Python
• Experience with Tableau (Reporting and/or API)
