Software Engineer

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, RESTful services.
• Knowledge of relational databases (DB2/PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of software debugging tools.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented and Concurrent Programming.
• Familiarity design patterns, code quality, and unit testing.
• Solid experience with version control systems (preferred GIT).

Nice to have:

• Experience in Docker/Kubernetes development.
• Familiarity and experience with production deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of event streaming, CQRS, Kafka.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis & Documentation: Gather information from existing systems and perform detailed analysis of program and time requirements. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation to guide the development and coding processes.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all coded programs strictly adhere to established industry standards and technical specifications.
• Technical Delivery: Conduct in-depth technical analysis and take ownership of component delivery within the project lifecycle.
• Project Participation: Actively engage in all stages of project delivery, including:
  • Requirements analysis and system design reviews.
  • Implementation, daily stand-ups ("dailies"), and peer code reviews.
  • Integration testing and providing support during internal/external testing phases.
• Production & Launch Support: Support production launches and provide critical maintenance for production systems to ensure stability.
• On-call Assistance: Provide hotline (on-call) support when required to address business-critical issues and urgent demands.
