Java Developer

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience.Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of relational databases (DB2/PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of software debugging tools.
• Good understanding of object-oriented and concurrent programming.
• Priority consideration will be given to candidates with familiarity with design patterns, code quality, and unit testing.
• Solid experience with version control systems (preferred: Git).

Nice to have

• Experience in Docker/Kubernetes development.
• Familiarity and experience with production deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of event streaming, CQRS, and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tooling to support functional and performance testing within the QA team.
• Implement automated solutions that improve testing efficiency and reliability.
• Provide hands-on development of test frameworks, utilities, and performance test tooling.
• Investigate performance issues, support root-cause analysis, and collaborate on improvements.
• Collaborate with QA engineers and cross-functional teams to understand testing needs and translate them into scalable tools.
• Perform hands-on software design and development.
• Write unit tests and perform peer design/code reviews.
• Provide technical solutions to complex problems and write technical documentation.
• Work closely with requirements engineers to estimate and develop quality products.
• Promote high quality and timely completion of projects.
• Mentor and help grow junior members of the engineering team.
