Senior Test Automation Engineer (Banking Industry)

Candidate Requirements

• Higher education in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software testing.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with C# or Java in API test automation.
• Practical experience with integration testing.
• Familiarity with XML and JSON data processing.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Git, and tools such as Jira.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Work in a hybrid model with a minimum office presence of three days per week.

Design and develop automated test cases for system integrations using a C#-based testing framework.

Contribute to defining the overall testing strategy, test plan, and quality approach within the team.

Collaborate closely with the Agile team to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Maintain and monitor existing regression test suites to ensure ongoing stability of the system.

Analyze, debug, and report software defects, supporting the team in identifying root causes.

Track and document test execution results and provide clear reporting.

Recommend corrective actions based on test outcomes and quality metrics.

Support daily issue resolution, risk identification, and communication within the team.

Improve and extend the current automation framework where possible to enhance testing efficiency.
