Senior IT Test Manager (Banking Industry)

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing within professional environments.
• Experience in a Test Manager role or with responsibilities related to test coordination and oversight.
• Strong SQL knowledge with practical experience in database testing.
• Hands-on experience in API testing.
• Experience working in Agile teams with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams focused on continuous improvement.
• Practical experience with test automation, including script development using Java and Selenium.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with or certification in Tricentis qTest.

Work in a hybrid model with a minimum office presence of three days per week.

Analyze requirements and design testing and deployment processes aligned with banking quality standards.

Contribute business and domain knowledge within the Scrum team to ensure solutions deliver real business value.

Plan and execute tests across all stages of the testing lifecycle to guarantee stable and reliable implementations.

Manage and track software defects, including reporting issues, assigning them for resolution, and verifying fixes.

Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not impact existing functionality.

Develop and maintain automated test cases for Data Services (DS), Master Data Management (MDM), and APIs.

Support quality improvements by collaborating with development and product teams throughout the delivery process.

Work in a hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office (locations: Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warsaw).
