Key responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical structures and related movement systems.
- Create CAD models, technical drawings, and assembly documentation.
- Support prototype assembly, testing, and design verification.
- Investigate mechanical issues and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing engineers.
- Support the design, build, and testing of CONEX-type structures and their actuation systems, including mechanical design, prototype support, and testing of moving mechanical assemblies.
