Senior .NET Engineer

Project and role:

• Develop and extend a custom workflow framework and digital platforms supporting safety, certification and compliance in maritime and industrial sectors.
• Design and build scalable event driven microservices and modern frontend components.
• Contribute to pilot deployments and validate solutions in high risk operational environments.
• Work with customers and cross functional stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions for complex industry challenges.
• Work fully remotely, with 2 to 4 business trips per year to an office in Poland or Norway.
• Use .NET and C#, React.js, Kafka, Azure, PostgreSQL, Docker and Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities:

• Extend the custom C# framework for workflow migration.
• Build and maintain frontend components.
• Write technical documentation and extend the automated testing framework.
• Support pilot deployments through responsive issue resolution.
• Validate solutions against business requirements and balance pilot priorities with ongoing development.

• At least 5 years of development experience with .NET 8.0 and C#.
• Hands on frontend development with React.js or StencilJS Web Components.
• Solid understanding of event driven architectures, including Kafka and MassTransit.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes and Helm for containerization and orchestration.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills, including production issue resolution.
• Direct customer and cross functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines and technical documentation.
• Good English communication skills at minimum B2 level.
