Key Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud and infrastructure solutions in a Microsoft Azure environment. You will manage virtual machines, networking, storage, and access control (RBAC), ensuring high availability, security, and performance of production systems.

You will administer and support Linux-based environments (Ubuntu, RedHat), including system configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization. Part of your role will involve implementing and maintaining backup, restore, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, as well as ensuring proper disk and data encryption practices).

You will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, manage artifacts in Nexus Repository (or similar tools), and troubleshoot issues across development and production environments

The role includes automating infrastructure and deployment processes using Bash, Ansible, and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), as well as working with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. You will collaborate closely with development teams (including Java engineers) to support web-based application delivery, ensure reliable releases, and maintain scalable system and application architecture

MUST HAVE

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Virtual Machines, networking, storage, RBAC).
• Good knowledge of Linux system administration (Ubuntu and RedHat).
• Experience with backup, restore and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
• Understanding of disk and data encryption concepts (at-rest, keys, certificates).
• Practical experience with Jenkins and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues in CI/CD and production environments.
• Experience with Nexus Repository or similar artifact repositories.
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code using Bash, Ansible and Terraform.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, along with understanding of basic system and application architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification
• Knowledge of Polish and English at a level sufficient to work on the project
• commercial experience with web-based application creation in Java
• Proficient in web-based OOP (functional programming will be a plus) 
• Experience working with web services / APIs e.g. SOAP / REST
