Czym będziesz się zajmować?

About the role

Mid Back-end Engineer (NodeJS) – remote in Poland. You will design, build and operate backend services that power automated decision-making and customer-facing products.

Key responsibilities
  • Implement backend services and integrate with databases and 3rd-party APIs.
  • Work in agile teams to deliver business-impacting features.
  • Deploy and maintain services using containers, Kubernetes and AWS Lambdas.
  • Investigate production incidents, propose fixes and improve reliability.
  • Build automated tests (unit, integration, e2e) and follow security best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Senior Engineers and Architects to turn requirements into production-ready code.

Kogo poszukujemy?

Who we are looking for
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Practical knowledge of a relational database (e.g. PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Familiarity with microservices and cloud environments (AWS).
  • Experience with test pyramid: unit, integration and e2e testing.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills; able to discuss design and architecture.
  • Strong ownership, responsibility and security-minded approach.
  • Good English (written and spoken) and availability for occasional late meetings across time zones.
Nice to have
  • Experience with data analysis / BigQuery, observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Fargate and CI/CD workflows.
