Role: QA Automation Engineer / SDET (Playwright). Work with Underwriting & Risk charter to ensure rules, models and tools are reliable. Build, maintain and expand automated tests for backend and some frontend to catch issues early and support high-quality releases.

• Design and maintain automation suites (integration, E2E, API).
• Automate new features and improve existing coverage.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to embed QA best practices.
• Take ownership of automation for a business unit and influence project direction.

• • You'll be working with our team of experienced QAs, developers, and product managers to make sure everything we deliver is absolutely top quality. Your help will be invaluable when their yellow duck can't hack it. :)
  • You’ll improve our existing automation, QA processes, and best practices by working closely with different stakeholders.
  • You’ll take ownership of all automation needs within one of our key Business Units, covering mostly backend, but a little frontend as well.
  • You’ll automate new features to ensure proper coverage and support go-live with high quality standards.
  • You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving existing automation tests and expanding them as needed.

• 3+ years in automation testing across frontend and backend.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript; hands-on with Playwright.
• Experienced with integration, end-to-end and API tests; strong automation practices and coding standards.
• Comfortable with Git/GitHub, PR process and CI tools (CircleCI/GitHub Actions).
• Able to write SQL and ensure data consistency in relational DBs.
• Independent problem-solver, team player, detail-oriented and proactive about improvements.
• Good English (written & spoken) and basic Polish; available for occasional afternoon/evening meetings.

• Experience working in a product company, ideally a startup/scale-up.
• Creativity and innovation in automation for any given area.
• Experience with Jira and agile testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Docker (building images, running and debugging containers).
• Experience with test case management tools, preferably TestRail.
