You will join a global engineering team as a Production Support Engineer, responsible for keeping production environments reliable, scalable, and running smoothly. This role focuses on L2/L3 production support, system administration, and troubleshooting complex issues across SQL/PLSQL, Linux and Bash, as well as monitoring tools. You will act as a key point of contact for production incidents and day-to-day operational support.

• Provide L2/L3 support for production systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring minimal downtime including participation in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support when necessary
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
• Monitor system health and performance using logging and monitoring tools (e.g. AppDynamics, Cloudwatch, Grafana, Splunk, etc.)
• Automate repetitive tasks using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or SQL/PLSQL and Linux/bash scripting
• Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures

• Client: lead international bank
• Recruitment process: 2 meetings with hiring managers, followed by a phone screen with our recruiter
• Hybrid work: 6 days per month from the office in Cracow

• Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Production Support role
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting and hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, SQL or PowerShell
• Familiarity with networking concepts, DNS, load balancing and security best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system reliability
• Availability to work in different shifts or be on “on call” duty
