We are looking for a Data Engineer with a strong focus on data warehousing and data modeling to support analytical, regulatory, and business needs in a banking environment. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain curated data structures and analytical models, working closely with data engineers, analysts, technical leads, and stakeholders across finance, risk, and compliance.

You will translate business requirements into scalable, governed data models, contribute to architectural discussions, and build reliable transformation pipelines on a cloud-based data platform. You’ll also participate in solution design, code reviews, and continuous improvement, applying DevOps practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable data solutions.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience working in cross-functional, agile delivery teams
• Strong SQL skills and ability to work with complex data structures
• Experience building data solutions on cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS)
• Understanding of banking domain data, preferably within finance, risk, or compliance
• Proven experience in data warehousing and data modeling

• Previous experience in banking or financial services
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of access management and cloud network infrastructure
• Experience with transformation tools such as dbt
• Experience with orchestration frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow)
• Experience with modern table formats (e.g., Apache Iceberg)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Hands-on experience with data modeling methodologies (e.g., dimensional modeling, data marts)
