We are supporting a leading insurance company, where the Contract Delivery Lead will play a key role in driving delivery within the Direct Auto sales funnel. Distribution is the growth engine for USRM, serving Personal Lines customers and focused on building innovative, customer-centric solutions that improve profitable online throughput.

The teams work on experimentation with customer-facing initiatives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

• Frontend-focused development: React, Node.js, JavaScript
• Experimentation & Observability: Splunk, Datadog
• Some exposure to AWS
• Experience with GraphQL

• Previous hands-on developer background (frontend preferred).
• Solid understanding of modern web technologies (React, Node.js, JS).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile delivery.
• Familiarity with observability tooling, AWS, and GraphQL is an advantage.

• Delivery Management:
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution across multiple engineering teams.
  • Manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure commitments are delivered on time.
  • Provide clear communication and alignment between teams and stakeholders.
• Team Leadership & Support:
  • Foster collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and coach teams on agile delivery and engineering quality.
  • Drive measurable improvements in delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time).
• Product Leadership Support:
  • Work closely with Product Owners to refine, prioritize, and deliver valuable outcomes.
  • Leverage a product mindset to help teams solve real business problems.
  • Balance delivery goals with sustainable engineering practices.
  • Engineering Excellence:
  • Champion High Performance Engineering (HPE) practices.
  • Ensure security, cost, operational excellence, reliability, and performance are integral to team delivery.
  • Encourage retrospectives, experimentation, and learning culture.
