This is a key role focused on managing and improving the way we handle third-party IT spend — including contracts for software, hardware, external services, and non-permanent workforce.

You’ll be working closely with senior stakeholders from IT, Procurement and Finance to make sure our Client is getting the best commercial value, improving cost transparency, and managing contracts effectively throughout their lifecycle. You’ll also play a strategic role in cost governance, business case development, and long-term planning for IT spend.

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT contracts – including renewals, extensions, changes, and compliance
• Support IT teams with purchasing needs and cost optimisation
• Join forces with Procurement, vendors, and stakeholders to run smooth negotiations
• Keep cost and contract data clean, clear, and easy to access
• Help with budgeting, forecasting, and building business cases for new tech initiatives
• Track results, report contract status, and find savings that actually make sense
• Work with global teams to make sure processes are clear, followed, and not just sitting in a drawer

• Experience in managing end-to-end contract lifecycles, including renewals, stakeholder approvals and compliance checks
• Proven ability to challenge IT demand and requirements, working with Procurement and technical teams to get optimal deals
• Solid understanding of third-party IT spend (software, hardware, services, contingent workforce) and related cost structures
• Experience supporting cost governance processes across multiple business areas
• Familiarity with zero-based budgeting, business case creation and benefits realisation
• Comfortable working with senior managers, presenting cost data and commercial insights
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, align on priorities and lead initiatives that create long-term cost efficiencies
• Understanding of risk and compliance frameworks in the context of IT contracts and sourcing activities
