Mainframe Analyst

• Analyze and understand mainframe applications, including data flows, system integrations, and dependencies
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements
• Perform impact analysis and support validation of changes within the system
• Validate developer changes and test results using strong analytical skills
• Document and report test outcomes in a structured and comprehensive way
• Support Application Maintenance (AM) teams in resolving production incidents
• Investigate issues and participate in problem diagnosis and resolution
• Coordinate with Release Managers for deployment and release activities
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Continuously improve knowledge sharing and documentation
• Proactively learn and adapt to new tools and technologies

Mainframe Analyst

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS,IMS)
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, impact analysis and documentation of the application
• Strong analytical skills for validating developer changes and test results
• Ability to document test outcomes comprehensively
• Experience supporting Application Maintenance (AM) teams with production incident resolution
• Coordination with Release Managers for deployment activities
• Eagerness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving technologies
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written
