Type of work Full-time, Remote (Europe) – travel required (≈5 trips/year, up to 2 weeks each)

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned technical projects to meet budget, schedule and scope.
• Prepare and update project proposals: objectives, technologies, specs, timelines, funding, staffing.
• Set, track and realign milestones; handle delays and adjust expectations.
• Implement communication plans and provide status updates to staff and stakeholders.
• Collect, analyze and summarize data for status reports.
• Gather and validate project requirements.
• Maintain performance databases tracking progress and milestones.
• Ensure project components are organized and progress per timelines and deliverables.
• Communicate with clients to schedule meetings and resolve issues.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to keep projects within scope, schedule and budget.
• Produce and communicate implementation specifications; negotiate plans and timelines with clients.
• Analyze progress and adapt timelines to maximize value.
• Forecast schedule risks and develop contingency plans.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Assess risks and report regularly to Senior Management; take proactive steps to minimize delivery delays.

Requirements

• Minimum three years management experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with customers.
• Knowledge of software development and deployement industry standards.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors and management.
• Organizational skills and time management skills to keep projects on track to the finish.
• Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully.
• Experience working with cross-functional agile teams.
• Proficient use of project management software (e.g. JIRA).
• Excellent knowledge of Agile techniques and artefacts (e.g., Definition of ready/done, user stories, epics, features, backlog, splitting stories, etc).
• Experience creating proactive self-organizing teams.
• A continuous improvement attitude.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience of delivering in an environment where multiple development teams are involved.

• Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition.
• Professional Scrum Master Certification from accredited intuition.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Italian language.
• IT Technical background (Architect, Engineer, QA, ecc.) is considered a plus.
