Project

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with strong C/C++ experience and knowledge of Android-based embedded systems to join a globally distributed automotive engineering team.

You will contribute to the development of the next generation of Android-based infotainment head units for leading automotive manufacturers. The role covers the full software lifecycle, from requirements and design through implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

You will
  • Develop software for next-generation Android-based automotive infotainment systems.
  • Work with a globally distributed team on automotive user experience solutions.
  • Develop software from initial requirements and concept through production implementation and lifecycle support.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot software issues, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
  • Modify and optimise existing software, including porting it to new hardware.
  • Improve software performance and non-functional requirements
  • Develop software tests and supporting tools using Python
  • Contribute to and improve CI/CD workflows
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in an Agile software development process.

Kogo poszukujemy?

Must have
  • Professional experience in embedded software development
  • Extensive hands-on experience with C/C++ for embedded systems
  • Knowledge of Android architecture and Android toolchain
  • Strong independent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with software design methodologies and modern software quality standards
  • Experience developing software tests and tools with Python
  • Experience working with CI/CD processes
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Fluent in English and Polish
Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience with the Linux Kernel
  • Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs and ARM processors
  • Knowledge of peripheral interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C and USB
  • Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and networks such as CAN or SOME/IP
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety and ASPICE/SPICE processes
  • Experience working with third-party automotive suppliers
