Senior Data Engineer (Remote)

We are building a talent pool of experienced Senior Data Engineers who would like to collaborate with Kyotu Technology on upcoming projects.

Our work focuses on building scalable data platforms and pipelines in regulated environments, where data quality, reliability, and security are key. We are looking for engineers with a strong technical background who are comfortable working close to both business and engineering teams.

Depending on the project, you may be responsible for designing and developing data pipelines, integrating modern data platforms, and supporting advanced use cases such as LLM-powered data workflows.

You will have the opportunity to join cross-functional teams composed of Software Engineers, DevOps, Tech Leads, QA, and Product stakeholders, working in Agile environments.

• strong experience as a Data Engineer (senior level)
• proficiency in Python (including Pandas, NumPy)
• experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g. PySpark)
• strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
• experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)
• hands-on experience with cloud platforms and data services (e.g. AWS S3, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks)
• experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex) from a data integration perspective
• experience with data modeling and data architecture
• familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• experience with streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka)
• experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines
• experience working in cross-functional teams
• very solid engineering background and best practices mindset
• high level of independence and ownership
• good communication skills and team orientation
• English at B2 level
