## Opis stanowiska

Designing, developing, and enhancing backend services using Scala  Optimizing the performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale applications  Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues affecting production systems  Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions  Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and code quality  Supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring less experienced engineers

## Kogo szukamy

Key requirements:   5+ years of commercial experience in Scala backend development  Strong experience building and maintaining scalable backend applications  Solid background in system performance tuning and optimization  Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)  Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues  Strong understanding of backend engineering best practices and software design principles  Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement  Strong collaboration and communication skills  Good command of English (min. B2)  Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required   Nice to have:   Experience applying GenAI in a structured way within the SDLC (workflows, prompt patterns, tool integrations)  Familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (agent-based workflows, AI-augmented development)
