- Developing and documenting a detailed testing strategy for the migration from mainframe assembler applications to Java/SQL under Linux
- Integrating testing methodologies, including unit testing, functional testing, and comparison testing, into the testing framework
- Defining and integrating appropriate testing tools, such as X-Ray
- Coordinating and overseeing testing activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Supporting test execution across planning, environment setup, execution, and reporting
- Acting as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, including architects, developers, and project management teams
- Leading, mentoring, and managing a small test team
- Assessing resource needs and supporting hiring and training of team members as the project scales
- Monitoring and reporting on testing progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance testing efficiency
- Producing comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
