## Opis stanowiska

Responsibilities:   Lead VAT, CIT, WHT and other tax reporting operations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery under governance and regulatory requirements.  Embed sustainable controls, clear ownership, management information, issue management and escalation within HSBC’s risk framework.  Drive standardisation, automation, process simplification and transformation, delivering measurable benefits.  Partner with Tax Advisory, Finance, Legal, Compliance, CIB, auditors and regulators.  Build high-performing teams, succession plans and accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.  Chair governance forums and provide executive reporting; reduce operational risk, control breaks and rework. ## Kogo szukamy

Key requirements:   Significant leadership experience in Tax Operations, Tax Reporting or Finance Operations in a complex, regulated environment; banking or financial services experience preferred.  Deep practical understanding of EU tax reporting obligations and their implementation in controls and processes.  Track record leading teams through change, remediation and transformation.  Strong risk mindset, with experience in controls, audit, issue management and governance.  Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence across functions and levels.   Nice to have:   Experience across multi-country EU scopes and shared service or centre-of-excellence models.  Exposure to process automation, data-led controls, workflow tools or target operating model design.  Professional qualification in tax, accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
