## Opis stanowiska

Responsibilities:   Maintain an ingestion pipeline processing billions of events daily against a defined SLA.  Support teams building and optimizing complex data pipelines.  Identify platform problems with other engineering teams.  Develop tools and frameworks for the data platform.  Support data scientists and analysts with production workloads.  Contribute to ML platform and streaming initiatives.  Establish software engineering and data development practices.   Recruitment process:   CV review, HR call, technical interview, client interview and decision.

## Kogo szukamy

Key requirements:   3+ years of data engineering experience.  Hands-on experience building, scaling and operating production-grade data platforms or infrastructure, including reliability, observability, performance and self-service.  Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, large datasets and complex ETL pipelines.  Experience with cloud providers such as GCP, AWS or Azure.  Strong programming skills in Spark with Scala and Python.  Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.  Strong understanding of software engineering practices and principles.  Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.  Self-motivation, initiative and ownership of problems.  Work from the European Union region and a valid work permit are required.   Nice to have:   Kafka or another messaging system.  Kubernetes.  Streaming platforms.  BigQuery or Redshift data warehouse administration.
