Be a coder; review and contribute code.  Focus on performance, availability, reliability, and security.  Contribute to the definition of features for services owned by your team.  Effectively communicate your and your team’s progress to your Team Members, Manager, and wider Tesco colleagues.

## Kogo szukamy

Key requirements:   Around 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer within the JVM ecosystem  Working with Agile environment  Excellent understanding of language & framework and good working knowledge of the abstraction layer underneath  Take a business problem and come up with technical strategy (push vs pull etc, real time vs batches, sync vs async), high level design and lead implementation  Need minimal direction and collaborate with SDEs across teams  Showcase exemplary behaviour in design, delivery, code, processes  Influence technical and business strategy by suggesting novel approaches  Able to communicate ideas and get feedback from different stakeholders, drive convergence  Continually propose and drive process improvements  Help elaborate requirements where necessary  Demonstrated technical leadership  Java 21  SQL and NoSQL DBs  Splunk, New Relic  Microsoft Azure, OpenShift  RESTful web services  Web application framework knowledge (Spring preferred)  Docker and Kubernetes  Microservices and Distributed Systems  Testing tools (JUnit / Spock / Mockito / WireMock)  Git, Maven and/or Gradle, other CI/CD tooling (GH Actions or equivalent)
