🚀 About the project  We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a large-scale project within the public sector, focused on developing and maintaining tax-related software systems.  The project involves building and evolving complex, high-availability systems used in a regulated environment. You will work on backend services, system integrations, and participate in maintaining high standards of performance, security, and code quality.  You will join a large, structured team working in an Agile setup, contributing to long-term system development in a complex organizational environment.     💡 About the company  Kyotu Technology is a boutique software house based in Wrocław and Warsaw, working fully remotely or in hybrid mode across Poland. We focus on long-term, high-quality engineering and building complex, production-grade systems with real business impact.     🧠 Your responsibilities   develop and maintain backend applications using Java  build and extend RESTful APIs  work with relational databases and ORM frameworks  collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environment  participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality  support CI/CD processes and work in containerized environments  perform occasional DevOps-related tasks

## Kogo szukamy

🧩 Must haves   German language at C1 level (fluent written and spoken communication)  higher education in IT (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent qualification + min. 5 years of experience  strong experience with Java (Java 8+)  minimum 5 years of experience working with Git  experience working with Jira and Confluence  experience with Linux (terminal-based work)  experience with OpenShift and Helm (min. 2 years)  experience with ORM frameworks (e.g. Spring Data, JPA)  experience with build tools and CI (e.g. Gradle, CI pipelines)  experience working on large-scale projects (long-term, multi-person teams)   ✨ Nice to have   experience with Spring Boot  experience in building RESTful services  experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)  experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)  basic frontend experience (React, TypeScript)  experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)  English at B1 level   📦 What we offer   B2B contract, 120 - 180 +vat/h  long-term cooperation  work on large-scale public sector systems  collaboration within experienced, structured teams  projects with high impact and stability
