- 4+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems using scripting/development languages such as Bash, Python or Kotlin.
- 4+ years in Site Reliability or Production Engineering teams.
- Experience building highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
- Experience with incident lifecycle, incident management and post-incident analysis.
- Experience defining SLOs, observability and alerting configurations and monitoring metrics.
- Proven ability to design extensible systems, make impactful changes in large code bases and develop tooling and safe practices for deployments.
- Strong verbal and written communication for collaboration with global teams.

- Own and deliver quarterly team goals; lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open problems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, product, developer experience and analytics during product lifecycle; articulate technical constraints and trade-offs.
- Identify technical solutions and operational processes to improve incident readiness, response and post-incident analysis.
- Create and monitor metrics, escalate when needed, support on-call and keep the lights on activities.
- Define and improve code review and design standards; advocate via writing and tech talks.
- Develop talent by providing feedback and guidance.
