We are seeking an experienced Java API Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with experience in CI/CD and Agile environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Build and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Use Git for version control, code reviews, and branching strategies.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security by following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

• 5–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 17 and object-oriented programming principles.
• Proven experience building microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (database design, querying, and optimization).
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL).
• Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
