Skills and attributes for success 

• To excel in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow ITOM architecture and demonstrate leadership in delivering complex enterprise-scale implementations. This may be demonstrated through: 
• Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM suite (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB). 
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure integrations, API design, and event correlation. 
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, automation, and observability frameworks. 
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD practices. 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs. 
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and developers. 

To qualify for the role, you must have 

• At least 7+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience, with 3+ years focused on ITOM architecture. 
• Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale ITOM solutions. 
• ServiceNow CAD or CIS certification (ITOM specialization preferred). 
• Strong understanding of ITIL, CMDB architecture, and service mapping methodologies. 
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and automation tools. 

Your key responsibilities 

• Lead the technical design and architecture for ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB. 
• Define ITOM strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and platform best practices. 
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to model services and dependencies accurately. 
• Design integrations between ServiceNow ITOM and external monitoring or automation tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor). 
• Ensure high-quality CMDB data governance and alignment with ITSM, ITAM, and other ServiceNow workflows. 
• Provide architectural guidance for MID Server deployments, credentials management, and integration performance. 
• Define standards, patterns, and reusable components for scalable ITOM implementations. 
• Oversee solution delivery, code review, and platform optimization to ensure maintainability and performance.
