We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Database Tester to support a project in the energy sector for one of our key clients. The role focuses on reviewing and thoroughly testing a completed software architecture. You will be working in a modern technical environment with a strong emphasis on data integrity and performance.

Your responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of a database system that is central to the client’s operations. You will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and project stakeholders to validate the solution and uncover any hidden issues before production deployment.

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in database testing
• Hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL, Kafka, and TimescaleDB (or equivalent time-series database)
• Strong proficiency in Linux environments, including command-line tools and scripting
• Ability to write and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios related to large-scale data systems
• Solid understanding of data validation, performance testing, and system reliability in distributed systems

• Experience with Ignition 8.3
• Background in working with applications in the energy, industrial automation, or IoT domains
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks for data-driven environments
