You will support execution of capabilities aligned to cloud security vision and to support strategic business objectives in a secure and compliant way. The role is responsible for writing and maintaining cloud posture management controls applied to Cloud infrastructure configurations running in AWS.

• Develop and maintain preventive, detective and corrective controls for AWS workloads in line with
• Cloud Security Architecture and Cyber Security Engineering
• Test and monitor existing controls to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with updated standards
• Own and update security and compliance documentation
• Assist teams in implementing remediation actions based on defined controls
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and business stakeholders to understand customer needs and improve services
• Drive cloud security improvements and automate processes to ensure high-quality, predictable code and data
• Support incident management processes
• Proactively research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to identify cloud security risks

• Expert level knowledge and hands on experience working with Amazon Web Services
• Experience in a cloud security focussed role (working within a SIEM, working within a cloud devsecops team as a dedicated cyber security engineer or similar)
• Customer and stakeholder focus, ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams
• Working knowledge of software development, DB and IaC tools and technologies; e.g Python, Bash, SQL, Terraform, CloudFormation and data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV

• AWS Cloud Architecture certification(s)
• Professional Security related qualifications
• Experience working with JupiterOne or similar Cloud Infrastructure posture management tooling
