The Lead Java GCP Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in the organization, ensuring the highest quality of software delivery in the travel industry.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications that support airline operations.

• Collaborate with development teams, SRE team, product team, and other departments in all stages of development
• Define work items, review code, and verify the correctness of delivered tasks
• Provide technical direction to the team to manage technical challenges and risks, and identify mitigation strategies
• Develop, code, test and debug new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software
• Encourages high coding standards, using best practices and high-quality
• Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
• Design, plan, develop, and improve applications using routine and advanced technology

• Minimum 8 years of related experience
• Experience in fast-paced Software Development in an Agile environment
• Expertise in: Java, Spring, Web Services
• Experience with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Docker
• Very good knowledge of cloud-based technologies (GCP)
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Very good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
