• Provide expert advice on network security products, solutions, architecture, and best practices.
• Identify and address network security risks, ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
• Support and guide IT and business projects to meet network security requirements.
• Take ownership of security projects, driving them to completion.
• Analyze network and cybersecurity data (e.g., system logs) to support decision-making.
• Identify security gaps and escalate remediation actions as needed.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Represent Network Security interests in complex projects.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, Cybersecurity, and Risk teams.
• Stay up to date with industry standards, threats, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external security regulations.

• Expertise in network security technologies (firewalls, IDPS, content filtering, load balancing, NAC, WAF, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of network security threats and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with technical leaders and management.
• Ability to work across teams and build strong relationships.
• Proven experience in leading security projects and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA, CCIE).
• Scripting ability (Python, Perl, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts and incident response tools (SIEM, etc.).
