Czym będziesz się zajmować?

We are looking for a Infrastructure Technical Lead to join a global leader in financial technology, delivering innovative payment solutions and cutting-edge technology to businesses and financial institutions worldwide. The main task in this position is to perform role of technical leader for application migration project, part of data center migration program.

There are X business applications to migrate, grouped into “buckets.” These include online systems, batch processing, and integration tools (e.g., Integration Service Bus, Control-M, replication tech, shared resources).

Migration steps:
  • Document “as-is” state
  • Define goals, strategy, and transformation (e.g., infra upgrades, containers)
  • Prepare target architecture/design
  • Create migration plans
  • Refactor/test code as needed (e.g., middleware upgrades)
  • Build new environments (DEV/QA/UAT/PROD/DR)
  • Request firewall/LB/database changes
  • Develop documentation (templates provided)
  • Test deployments (PEN tests, certifications)
  • Migrate services with minimal risk
  • Decommission old environments

A technical leader will oversee baskets, collaborating with PMs, SMEs, devops and infra teams to drive actions, resolve blockers, and ensure migration goals.

Kogo poszukujemy?

Skills:
  • Experience in similar roles/projects (application migrations, redeployments, etc.)
  • Ability to quickly absorb knowledge from application SMEs
  • Practical experience in architecture/design documentation with architects and internal teams
  • Broad knowledge of IT technologies, middleware and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure). Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and containerization is an advantage
  • Understanding of availability, performance, monitoring and resilience for online and mass transaction systems
  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure, networking, load balancing, and TLS
  • Familiarity with transaction acquiring and card issuer services is a plus
  • Goal-oriented, responsible and focused on delivering quality outcomes
  • Team player, able to share knowledge, find compromises, and build effective relationships
