We are seeking an experienced and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our newly formed Platform Team. The team is focused on developing an operating model and suite of services that will provide our internal development teams with the tools and automation needed to independently manage their applications, data, compatibilities, and other business domain updates.

In this role, you will be central to enabling the technology community to adopt microservice-based changes to the architecture. You will leverage technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC elements like Terraform and Helm. We are looking for candidates who have extensive expertise in orchestration management, CI/CD pipeline automation, and cloud infrastructure automation, particularly in high-performance environments.

• Containerization: Proficient with Docker for containerizing applications and microservices, ensuring they are independently testable, buildable, and deployable.
• Kubernetes Orchestration: Design and manage highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters, ensuring resilience and flexibility.
• CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and other workflow management tools that support automation through scripting.
• Cloud Integration: Expertise in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure on public cloud platforms like AWS.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure the infrastructure adheres to high standards of security, including data encryption, anonymization, compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS), and auditing, particularly for event-driven financial systems.
• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure transformation and automation.
• Proven expertise in migrating monolithic architectures to microservices using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience in the FinTech industry or other high-security, high-compliance sectors is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Prior experience leading significant IT changes or modernizing legacy services is preferred but not required
