Digital Automation platform is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team, specializing in infrastructure automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks, scripting languages and tools to drive efficiency and streamline processes within our IT infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing automated solutions to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

• Automation Design and Development: design and develop automation solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the IT infrastructure
• Infrastructure Management: collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to implement automation in cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test and deployment processes
• Scripting and Programming: write and maintain scripts using languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar
• Troubleshooting and Optimization

• Experience in automation engineering with a focus on on-prem infrastructure and systems automation
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks - preferably Ansible, Jenkins
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience implementing and managing them
• Experience with on prem distributed platforms; particularly with Linux, VMs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with containerization technologies e.g., Docker, Kubernetes might be considered beneficial
• Knowledge of networking concepts and automation in network environments
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools to track the performance of automated systems
