As a part of the Computing Product Line, you will advance the state of the art in compiler technology in the context of managed memory environments. You will take part in research, design and implementation of compiler optimizations. You will work on dynamic code analysis and code transformation, devising new code instrumentation techniques and implementing them in a commercial compiler engine.

• Design and prototype compiler optimizations in a just-in-time compiler engine
• Develop code instrumentation capabilities in the compiler and run-time system
• Benchmark and present results
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions into production
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in relevant technology, contributing to the company's leadership in the field
• Analyze whitepapers and apply them to the daily work

• BSc. or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly C/C++
• Knowledge of the architecture and understanding of compiler internals
• Experience in LLVM or any industrial-strength compiler development
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate within the domain

• PhD degree in Computer Science or related field
• Publications in journals or conferences
• Successful patents filing record
• Knowledge and understanding of managed memory run-times such as Java/JVM
• Experience in code vectorization using CPU extensions, such as AVX, NEON or SVE
