As a member of the Computing Product Line, you will engage in the research, design and implementation of software components that enable tiered memory usage within end-to-end solutions. Your work will focus on advancing the AI ecosystem by designing and implementing libraries that leverage the capabilities of new Ascend AI hardware. You will integrate heterogeneous memory support in AI training and inference frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow and LLaMA.cpp, and research new memory management techniques to optimize performance.

• Design, prototype, and optimize software for the new AI hardware and memory devices
• Benchmark and present results
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in relevant technology, and apply them to the daily work
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate innovative solutions into production environment

• BSc. or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles
• Experience in optimization and performance tuning AI models and software
• Good grasp of computer architecture and foundation in memory/storage/processing technologies, including an understanding of the software stack and critical performance factors
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate within the domain
• Ability to work independently

• PhD degree in Computer Science or related field
• Publications in journals or conferences
• Successful patents filing record
• Experience working with Large Language Models
• Experience in VectorDB and RAG
• Experience in compiler optimization and Linux kernel development
• Knowledge of ARM architecture
